This is a pool recruitment process (Ref 01085). This pool will run for a period of twelve (12) months and may be used to fill ongoing fixed term contracts, secondments, acting/relieving and permanent opportunities.
Currently there are five (5) full-time permanent positions available.
POSITION OBJECTIVE
This position manages and develops medium to high risk contracts for goods and services, works, information and communications technology, and community services. Provides specialist procurement advice on contract governance and contract management. Ensures compliance with agreed terms and conditions, reviews and analyses vendor and stakeholder performance within policies, procedures and relevant legislation. Manages stakeholder commercial compliance and delivery, and provides advice on program management and governance matters.
SPECIALIST PRE-REQUISITE
Depending on local level business needs, it is a requirement that the position holder is successful in obtaining and maintaining a NEGATIVE VETTING LEVEL 1 security clearance for the duration of their appointment in the position. Only Australian Citizens are eligible to hold and maintain the NEGATIVE VETTING LEVEL 1 security clearance. Any applicants who are currently not an Australian Citizen must be aware that this is an essential requirement to fulfil this position. Applicants who are successful should be aware that they cannot be appointed unless they are in the process of applying for Australian Citizenship and are eligible to become an Australian Citizen prior to appointment.

The CV must also include the names and contact details of two (2) referees who can comment on the applicant's ability to satisfy all of the Essential Work Related Requirements.
OTHER CONDITIONS
In addition to the above mentioned vacancies, a POOL is being created to fill future vacancies that may arise within the metropolitan area. This POOL will remain active for a period of twelve (12) months from the initial appointment. Applicants who are assessed as 'suitable' at the completion of this process will be placed in the POOL and may be considered for future permanent and temporary vacancies as they become available.
