VCID No.942163 Position Profile: We are seeking experienced and friendly people who are passionate about integrity to join our Integrity and Ethics team located at Perth Children's Hospital.
As a Senior Consultant Integrity and Ethics , you will promote integrity and ethical behaviour across the Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) by providing high-level advice to key stakeholders on the CAHS Integrity and Ethical Governance Framework and ongoing misconduct prevention and incident case management. You will be responsible for monitoring integrity and ethical conduct issues through review of complaints, risk assessments, quality assurance of oversight reporting obligations, and undertaking investigative actions. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conduct inquiries and administrative investigations in accordance with relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks. Provide advice and support to Decision Makers, Managers, and other Workforce Service staff in relation to the reporting of incidents and conduct of misconduct investigations, including undertaking quality assurance reviews of investigation reports. Participate in the reporting and recording of incidents across CAHS. Contribute to the ongoing development and promotion of an integrity culture in CAHS which supports ethical behaviour and decision-making. Undertake regular and ad hoc CAHS wide analysis to identify systemic trends and significant issues relating to ethical conduct/integrity. Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive suite of standard and customised quantitative reports which explore trends in staff conduct issues and provides ongoing benchmark information for CAHS. Contribute to the development and maintenance of centralised records of sensitive and confidential staff conduct issues across CAHS. CAHS is proud to be the leading service provider for paediatric healthcare in Western Australia, as the State's only dedicated health service for infants, children and young people. CAHS is made up of four service areas: Neonatology, Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), and Perth Children's Hospital (PCH). Consisting of over 6,500 employees, our services are delivered at PCH and King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH), as well as across a network of more than 160 community clinics across the metropolitan area.
Eligibility: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
