Join our team at the Research Support and Development Unit at SMHS as a Research Governance Coordinator .
In this role, you will:
Facilitate local governance of research in line with local, state, and national guidelines. Oversee the initiation and monitoring of research projects. Collaborate with researchers, Human Research Ethics Committees, Trial Sponsors, the Insurance Commission of Western Australia, the WA Department of Health, and hospital administrators on research submissions. Review Site Specific Assessment Forms and Site Access Request Forms, providing recommendations to the Director of Research regarding research activities at SMHS sites.
