Hedland Health Campus are seeking motivated Patient Support Assistants to join their Hotel Services team. This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent, Fixed Term and Casual appointments at various hours per fortnight. Fixed Term contracts include the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/12/2025.
This role assists with a range of patient support services as directed by Coordinator Patient Support Services and members of the nursing team. The Patient Support Assistant is responsible for: Cleaning routines including daily cleans, discharges, and high-cleans while adhering to Health Care level infection control processes and procedures in a high patient activity hospital setting. Linen and waste removal Meals and refreshments distribution It is important to note that there is no accommodation subsidy assistance, no Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO) options, and no relocation expenses for this position.
