This is a fixed term full time appointment at 76 hours per fortnight with the possibility of extension(s). The current end date for this contract is 26/06/2026.
Position Profile: As part of the multidisciplinary team, the primary responsibility of the Clinical Nurse (CN) is to manage, coordinate and deliver advanced nursing care to children, families & carers within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse; using leadership, advanced nursing skills and knowledge relevant to the practice setting. The CN is a clinical resource for the Infant, Child, and Adolescent Mental Health Service (ICAMHS); and provides clinical supervision of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing, and students.
To be successful in this role, you will have: Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skills, and experience in the delivery of evidence-based nursing care within the relevant practice setting or speciality. Demonstrated well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, including team leadership and clinical escalation capability. Demonstrated experience in quality improvement and risk management to improve the experience for patients. Demonstrated digital capability to enable access and use of clinical systems which contribute to the provision of quality care and information availability.
