The Venue Sales Manager is an important position with the Commercial Team at Dovecot, enhancing the ability of the organisation to expand its reach and meet its potential. Dovecot is a world-renowned tapestry studio, events venue and visitor attraction featuring galleries, a shop and café in central Edinburgh. Your role as Venue Sales Manager is crucial for selling all venue event spaces for hire at Dovecot and increasing revenue by maximizing sales and income from each unique space. Dovecot hosts a range of high-profile events including weddings, celebrations, conferences, group tours, and bespoke events, and is renowned for its premium level of service and delivery. Your responsibilities will include: Sales lead generation and prospecting new business to grow market share. Maintaining an active presence in relevant industry associations and groups. Identifying sales leads and promoting our services to new customers, focusing on corporate clients and the travel trade sector. Maintaining exceptional customer service for all visitors while working sensitively within Dovecot's wider brand and position in the art world. Understanding the competitive marketplace and implementing creative commercial approaches to ensure Dovecot Studios stays ahead in the local market. Salary: £25-£30kReports to: Head of Commercial & OperationsFull time: 40 hours per week excluding breaksDays: 5 days out of 7 with evenings and weekends as required.
