Reporting to a GM, you'll oversee the group's flagship venue: a modern Australian Bar, offering the locals and tourists a huge variety of high level products, mainly from local suppliers.  It's a flowing semi-outdoor space that can hold up to about 400 people, very contemporary.  It's also a popular night time spot, with large screens for sport and local DJ's. 
  
The role
  
As the ideal candidate, you will come with a hands-on approach to the position and a background that is both accomplished and focused, preferably with a strong F&B culture.  This venue has an affluent clientele and although feeling casual offers a stylish product and professional service.
  
Your background will have a stable history in all areas of management, with a focus on customer service and beverages.  We seek an individual who is accomplished in very busy, high volume environments and composed in pressure situations.
  
You'll also be someone who has an undiluted passion for the industry, full of ideas, who can understand the area and clientele, maximizing the offering to fulfill its potential.  This is a great opportunity for someone who's currently a VM for a smaller hotel or AVM for a large quality operator looking for that next step up.
Several years' experience in a managers role within a high turnover property Proven experience leading, managing, motivating and driving teams. A 'hands on' approach and lead from the front. Paramount in this role is the ability to understand the market and target opportunities Fantastic presentation and great communication skills. Understanding cost/budget management Rewards

The salary offered is above market for the area, up to 100K+S for the right skill set and experience.
