A spirit of continuous growth and re-invention is what has kept people coming back time and time again for over a decade.Directly below our beautiful light-filled rooftop is our seductive den of sin House of Correction. With an intoxicating candle-lit ambience, HoC offers a warm and intimate setting in which guests can settle in and work their way through a truly unique cocktail list. Currently undergoing renovations, you will oversee the relaunch and development of an amazing bar with plenty of potential.About youBar management experience - You possess excellent cocktail knowledge and a passion for creating exceptional drinks that help the venue maintain and grow its fantastic reputation within Melbourne hospitality.Exceptional leadership and management - You will have a proven ability to lead, manage and motivate teams, ensuring high performance and contributing to a positive work environment. This role will suit a hands-on manager with a learning mentality and a focus on professional development.Experienced in all facets of venue operations - Knowledge of how to implement service standards, cost menus and control stock, maintain PoS systems, follow licensing regulations and manage labour.A talent for multi-tasking and problem solving - Having the ability to be solutions-focused and have a sound understanding of what needs to be prioritised.An eagerness to manage vendors - Goldilocks specifically is big on collaborating with a carefully selected bunch of beer, wine and spirit brands to organise events and execute activations. You will be excited and ambitious about creating unique experiences for guests, always seeking opportunities to deliver that 'wow' factor.Strong communication skills - You will need to be approachable, level-headed and show consideration in your communication style.
