Since our humbling beginnings at our little Manly Brewpub, we've grown to a portfolio of 7 venues, a bunch of partnership venues and a commercial brewery and HQ in Brookvale, NSW. We pride ourselves on our customer experience, top-notch products and creating an environment where all are welcome.The RoleAs the venue manager, you'll be reporting directly to the Hospitality Operations Manager and tasked with making sure 4 Pines Coolangatta is thriving, running smoothly & keeping our customers frothing. You'll be leading a kitchen & front of house team through support & hand to hand leadership.Who You AreYou're a natural leader with a passion for hospitality and a love for the beachside lifestyle. You're cool under pressure, quick on your feet, and always ready to solve problems with creative solutions.The Nitty GrittyJob tasks and responsibilitiesFace of the venue and brand ambassador.Instil and foster the 4 Pines core values and personality traits within the team.Oversight and financial responsibility for total venue (front of house and back of house operations); including (but not limited to) COGS, labour management, P&Ls, sales revenue, marketing insight and activations, KPIs/targets.Proactively seek growth opportunitiesLiaising with kitchen to ensure consistent quality and presentation of mealsContinued improvement of the customer experience.Hands on and operational role working alongside a close-knit team of staff to develop, train and upskill.Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing, council regulations, food safety, WHS and other relevant legislative instruments.Support our brewers with operating our onsite brewery (no prior brewery experience required)Skills and experienceDemonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and train a team of staffPragmatic approach to problem solving and troubleshootingAbility to work autonomously with direction and guidance from HQStrong communication and interpersonal skillsGenuine desire to build a connection with the local communityAt least 2 years of previous venue and people management experienceFriendly, positive, and approachable attitudeCurrent QLD RSAMust have unrestricted Australian work rightsWhy 4 Pines?We take what we do seriously, but not ourselves!Well-established and highly commended hospitality operations.Innovative and growing company with ongoing training and development opportunities.We're a certified Great Place to Work50% off F&B (for you and your mates) at 4 Pines venues, Boardriders apparel, 4 Pines merch, and other discounts at our partnership venues.Free case of beer each month of your choice from the 4 Pines or Brookvale Union range.Environmentally and socially conscious organisation - we're a B Corp, 1% for the Planet member and a Certified Great Place to Work company.Safety is a priority – we're doing everything we can to make sure that our staff and customers have a fun and safe experience.Reckon you have what it takes?Hit us up!
