Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Venue Manager for our vibrant Mexican restaurant. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient staff management, and effective financial performance. This role requires a passion for Mexican cuisine and culture, alongside strong leadership and operational skills.
Key Responsibilities: Operations Management: Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to quality and service standards. Manage the workflow of front-of-house and back-of-house operations to optimize efficiency. Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Schedule and supervise staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Customer Experience: Ensure outstanding customer service and satisfaction through regular engagement and feedback. Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally. Develop and implement initiatives to enhance the guest experience. Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control measures. Analyze sales data and prepare reports on profitability and operational challenges. Oversee cash management, including daily reconciliation and deposits. Menu and Inventory Management: Collaborate with chefs to develop and maintain an authentic and innovative menu. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining vendor relationships. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. Marketing and Promotions: Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Manage social media presence and online reviews to promote the restaurant's image. Plan and coordinate special events and promotions to enhance community engagement. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards. Conduct regular inspections of the venue to maintain cleanliness and safety protocols. Train staff on health and safety procedures and food handling practices. Qualifications: Proven experience as a restaurant manager or in a similar role, preferably in a Mexican cuisine restaurant. Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse team. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food handling practices. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
