PLG Group is seeking an experienced and passionate Venue Manager to join and lead the team at one of its venues in the Melbourne South East area. The successful candidate will have strong leadership capabilities and expert knowledge of current gaming legislation and compliance requirements.
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the venue with an emphasis on customer service where you will lead and coach your team, hit all gaming revenue targets including loyalty KPIs, compliance and back-of-house reporting.
What will my duties include? Ensuring the venue achieves the set financial targets.Preparing reports accurately and ensure they are submitted in a timely manner.Coaching, mentoring and leading the team.Ensuring recruitment is accurately planned and labour is forecast in line with budget.Ensuring venue is compliant with all external bodies.Developing a venue strategy to deliver on key items in overall business strategy.Ensuring a standard of customer service is set in the venue and all employees are trained in accordance.What are we looking for? Business related qualifications preferred or 5+ years industry experienceAvailability to work flexible hours.Food Handlers Certificate.Current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA).Current Victorian Responsible Service of Gambling Certificate (RSG).TAB Compliance.Current Victorian Gaming Employee Licence.What's in it for you?
