Base Salary: $85,000 (based on experience and relocation package for the right candidate) About Itinerant Spirits: Are you currently living in a big city and wanting a better quality of life? This is an opportunity to join one of the new leaders in the distillery scene at Itinerant Spirits, Western Victoria's exciting new destination for artisan spirits.  Based in the culturally rich 'Goods Shed' c1860 in Ballarat, we are an establishment that prides itself on crafting vodka, gin, and whiskey with a story to tell. We at Open Pantry Consulting are excited to partner with Itinerant Spirits to recruit for this pivotal role. The Role:
We are searching for a dynamic Hospitality Venue Manager to take the lead at our venue in Ballarat. As an integral part of our foundational team, you will manage the overall operations and financial health of the venue, ensuring a memorable experience for each guest and upholding the Itinerant Spirits brand ethos.
 
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the operational and financial management of the venue with a focus on profitability, revenue management, and superior guest service. Develop and maintain training programs, elevating service standards and team performance. Create and implement strategies for sales growth and operational efficiency. Manage labour costs and schedules for the cocktail bar and FOH staff, ensuring optimal team productivity. Uphold the highest standards in stock control and procurement for the venue. Resolve guest concerns with diplomacy and tact, ensuring the Itinerant Spirits' reputation for quality is maintained. Engage with community partners to further venue objectives and targets. Who You Are: A seasoned professional with at least 10 years in the hospitality industry, including 5 years in management. Adept in the Australian drinks and cocktail landscape, with an eye for emerging trends. Accomplished in goal achievement and experienced in forging strong relationships. Equipped with outstanding project management and multitasking skills. An excellent communicator, capable of leading a diverse team. Qualifications: Hospitality management of 5 years or more is highly regarded. Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.
