Venue Account Manager - Ricc

Microhire is seeking a talented audio visual sales professional with solid knowledge across the technical fields of vision, audio, lighting, rigging and hybrid event delivery to join our team at the RICC.
The ideal candidate will manage client relationships, provide technical specifications and proposals, and ensure seamless event execution.
This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance the customer experience and meet sales targets.
This role reports to the Event Staging Manager.
Key Responsibilities: Manage client relationships and provide technical and sales information on lighting, sound, visual, staging, rigging, and virtual technical requirements.Develop strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.Provide accurate technical specifications and proposals for clients.Support, plan, and organise client corporate events in various function spaces.Oversee the delivery of jobs/events from concept through to seamless execution.Coordinate technical resources and adhere to Work Health Safety procedures.Complete administrative processes and ensure proper client records are maintained.Communicate new services and product offerings to clients and attend networking functions as requested by management.Experience & Requirements: Proven experience in Audio Visual or Events industry (2+ years experience)Knowledge of audio, vision, lighting and hybrid event technologies.Strong interpersonal and pro-active sales skillsPrevious experience with Rental Point (advantageous)Excellent manner and personal presentation.Applicants must have full working rights to work in AustraliaAttractive salary, negotiable based on experienceUncapped performance incentivesRelative flexibility of hoursManage your own business unitWork within an exciting events industry!About us: Microhire offers a diverse range of audiovisual and digital technology services for events to corporate clients.
