ASSISTANT DIRECTOR – NORTH REGIONAL About the role: As part of our ongoing contract with the Department of Justice, Ventia is seeking an experienced Assistant Director to oversee operational service delivery for Persons in Custody within the North WA region.
As a critical member of our CSCS Senior Management team, you will ensure effective management and performance of Logistics, Resource Management, and Court Operations across multiple locations in the North of Western Australia.
In addition, you will provide advisory management and operational expertise to the Operational Support Manager and Care Security Managers to ensure the specific business streams deliver the required service while maintaining a dedicated focus on security, safety, and duty of care.
Collaborating with the Deputy Director and other Assistant Directors, you will fulfill all operational and commercial obligations by engaging with stakeholders, including but not limited to Court Registry, Roebourne, Broome, and West Kimberly prisons, Police, and CRAD.

In-depth knowledge of legislations and compliance requirements relevant to the Justice or Corrections sector. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high level of computer proficiency (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint). Assist in the development and implementation of the contract-wide strategic plan and goals. Oversight of people management, absence management, recruitment, training, and performance evaluation for all staff within your remit of responsibility.
