Ventia are currently looking for a Hospitality and Catering Supervisor to join our Defence Base Services contract at RAAF Base Tindal, NT.
We are looking for a dynamic 'hands-on' leader who is up for the challenge of guiding and supporting a strong food and beverage team to build on a growing reputation and achieve excellence in service standards by leading from the front.

Your duties will also include: Responsible for the ongoing training and rosters of staff Co-ordinate the monthly bar & beverage stocktake, complete reports accurately & submit as per the end of month time schedule/calendar issued. Control, monitor & complete weekly rosters, in conjunction with F&B Staff ensure these rosters fall within budgetary constraint & contractual requirements. Attend & conduct regular pre-starts. Input of all meal pass data into actual/forecast spreadsheet in a timely manner. Ensure that messes are completing the buffet compliance & all toolboxes etc are uploaded into IMS We recognise that people are our greatest asset and are committed to being an employer of choice.
As a result we seek to employ people who will succeed in this role and who will likely have: Strong planning and organisational skills and proven experience in collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level. Proven experience of working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes. Food Safety for Supervisors certification (training provided by employer) desirable. Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards, relevant legislation and statutory obligations.
