Your Role As a Vendor Replenishment Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers' product needs are met efficiently and on time. You will act as the primary liaison between our supply chain, sales, and key customers to maintain optimal inventory levels, avoiding both stock-outs and overstock situations. Your goal is to drive accurate demand forecasts, create effective replenishment plans, and support business objectives related to service levels, inventory turnover, and customer satisfaction.
A Typical Day Align and Execute Replenishment Plans: Collaborate with sales, supply chain, and customers to align on forecasted needs and execute effective replenishment strategies.Booking of Delivery Slots: Schedule and book delivery slots for central Distribution Centers (DCs) while monitoring store bookings to ensure deliveries are on time and meet customer requirements.Management of Container Program: Oversee the container management process, ensuring efficient handling and transportation to maximize utilization and minimize costs.Continuous Improvement for Service Levels and Cost: Regularly review key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities to improve service levels, streamline processes, and reduce costs.Monitor Stock Levels and Orders: Keep a close eye on inventory levels, ensuring the right balance between availability and overstock, and adjust replenishment orders as needed.Escalation of Service Issues: Act as the escalation point for any service-related issues, ensuring they are resolved promptly and that customers are kept informed.Collaborate with Logistics Teams: Work with logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and address any transportation challenges or delays.Drive Data-Driven Decisions: Use forecasting and replenishment tools to analyze data and make recommendations that optimize inventory levels and improve operational efficiency.Participate in Customer Meetings: Join regular meetings with customers to review performance, address concerns, and explore ways to improve collaboration and service.Who You Are Analytical: You have strong analytical skills, able to interpret large data sets and extract actionable insights that help streamline operations.Detail-Oriented: You focus on precision and accuracy in demand forecasting and inventory management, ensuring optimal customer outcomes.Collaborative: You thrive in cross-functional teams, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Problem Solver: You are proactive in identifying potential supply chain disruptions and work effectively to implement solutions.Customer-Focused: You understand the importance of meeting customer expectations and are dedicated to delivering exceptional service.Experience: You have prior experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or customer service, ideally in a fast-paced retail or consumer goods environment.Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in inventory management tools and ERP systems (SAP is a plus), as well as strong Excel skills.Why work for Electrolux?
