The Delivery and Information team ensures the sustained health and maintenance of UniSuper's core systems and platforms - to provide high availability, stability and performance. The role

This role is accountable for building, managing, and enhancing relationships with strategic vendors and internal stakeholders to optimise value, measure performance, mitigate vendor risks, drive innovative solutions, and establish ways of working with UniSuper to achieve company objectives. Additionally, it is involved in all aspects of the vendor management lifecycle, from conducting due diligence and supporting contract negotiations to monitoring performance and ensuring contract compliance. Also, will assist in representing D&I to our strategic vendors and in ensuring vendor services align with business requirements and internal Contract and Vendor Management policy.

Manage to the UniSuper strategic vendor framework for interactions, communication and reporting between strategic vendors and internal resources, including D&I stakeholders and leaders.Champion internal customer and vendor business goals and strategies with the intent of establishing and managing to a common set of goals and ensuring vendors' continued alignment with UniSuper's strategic priorities.Undertake commercial reviews of key vendor agreements, including Statements of Work, Managed Services Agreements and software licences, and assist in commercial negotiations with vendor partners.Prepare vendor management plans for strategic D&I vendors, schedule and run vendor governance meetings with key vendors and manage escalations.Assist with the management of vendor performance issues, disputes, and negotiation of change requests.Remain up to date with vendor service offerings and product roadmaps to ensure D&I have opportunities to take advantage of new and emerging offerings.Manage vendor risk, with guidance and advice from with D&I Risk Manager, including risk identification and management, risk profiling, risk reporting and incident management. About you

A true thought leader, we are seeking an individual who is a strategic thinker, result focus and measures performance by outcomes.
Experience in building, managing, and driving key strategic vendor partnerships to deliver on mutually beneficial outcomes for both the business and vendor.Experience with identifying and engaging with key IT strategic partners, gaining insights on their offerings, motivations, strategic plans, competitors, and market challenges.Solid understanding of the vendor life cycle (sourcing, procurement, vendor management, contract management), and how internal roles interact and operate throughout the duration of vendor engagements.Strong understanding of technology contracts, including managed services agreements, outsourcing agreements, project delivery statements of work and service level/service credit arrangements.Experience in understanding complex issues, initiatives and strategies and communicating on these topics with business & technology-savvy individuals and vendors.Experience with various pricing models and the ability to undertake pricing analysis as part of vendor selection activities.
