Our dealership is looking for a passionate and dedicated Workshop Supervisor/Leading Hand to coordinate and oversee the service department's daily operations while ensuring exceptional customer service standards.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Diesel Mechanic who is looking for a blended role that covers supervision without needing to be "off the tools".
About The Role:
Coordinate and supervise daily workshop operations to maximise efficiency and productivity Assign tasks to technicians and apprentices, ensuring timely completion and high-quality standards Oversee incoming work planning and manage time and resources effectively Conduct quality checks, audits, and compliance reviews for all service and repair jobs Monitor and manage repair carry-overs, ensuring work is finalised promptly Provide mentorship and guidance to technicians and apprentices, addressing skill gaps and training needs Communicate effectively with the Branch Manager regarding repair challenges, customer complaints, and equipment issues Perform road tests and provide final quality approval for completed repairs Participation in attending breakdowns and supporting

About You:
