Vehicle Spray Painter

Northside Panel and Paint  is located in Belconnen, ACT.Our family owned workshop has an immediate vacancy for an experienced qualified Vehicle Painter to join our team.The role includes the following tasks and duties: Priming preparation & priming duties, both UV and Primer filler.Dry sanding and pre paint preparation.Repair minor chips prior to painting panels using fillers Colour retrieval using Spectro and computer paint formula software.A high degree of colour matching skill.Utilise latest masking techniques.Refinish vehicles to the highest possible standard with minimal rework.Ability to Buff and polish to a high level.Assist in detailing vehicles as required.Follow all workshop processes.Carry out other related duties as may be required by management.Opportunity for extra income with overtime available from time to time Requirements for the role: Ability to work independently in a timely and safe manner and also in a team Qualified Vehicle refinisher with at least 3 years experience.Additional experience may be considered in lieu of qualifications.Attention to detail and pride in your work.Experience with painting on a variety of vehicle brands and models Understanding of workplace health and safety.Positive and motivated, loyal and respectful of others.All interested applicants are encouraged to apply.Visa sponsorship may be considered if required.We look forward to receiving your application.
