Vehicle Painter

Our Client, BM Webb Building Pty Ltd is an equal opportunity employer which is looking for a qualified and experienced vehicle painter to join their team at Bohle, Queensland.  The position is a full time permanent role.The suitable applicant will be responsible for preparing and painting vehicles to the highest standards and will require the necessary level of expertise that will ensure that all vehicles receive a flawless finish, enhancing their appearance and value.This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of painting techniques, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.  The suitable applicant will have:  • proven experience as a vehicle painter, preferably within a similar environment.  • proficiency in using spray guns and other painting equipment.  • a strong understanding of paint mixing and colour matching.  • excellent attention to detail and precision.  • familiarity with different types of paints, primers, and finishing products.  • relevant trade qualifications or certifications in automotive spray painting.  • the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.  • the ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other workshop staff. • strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines  • good communication skills, both written and verbal.   Duties of the position will include the following:  • sand, mask, and prime surfaces to prepare them for painting.  • apply paint using spray guns, ensuring an even and flawless finish.  mix and match paint colours to achieve the desired finish and match existing colours.inspect finished work to ensure it meets company standards.• clean and maintain painting equipment and spray booths.  • follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.  • maintain accurate records of work completed and materials use Salary range is $35.50 to $40.00 per hour commensurate with qualifications and experience.  If you are interested in these roles APPLY now.  Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted
