Vehicle Fire Suppression Technician

Great opportunity for a hard-working, enthusiastic and energetic person to join our Mackay based team as a Vehicle Fire Suppression Technician. In this exciting role you will be performing installation and routine maintenance and repairs to fire suppression systems fitted to mobile heavy machinery on various mine sites throughout the region.
We have multiple full-time roles available for experienced technicians and training on offer for entry level candidates with a keen desire to learn and succeed in the fire industry.
Successful applicants will have: Relevant Industry Experience Appropriate QBCC Licencing where required Ability to work autonomously High level of customer service Strong communication skills – both written and verbal Current Driver's Licence A willingness to multi-skill into other areas of fire protection Excellent workmanship, reliability, attention to detail and dedication to working in a team DIDO and FIFO (7 day on / off) rosters available Desirable: Current QLD Generic Standard 11 Current QLD Coal Medical Current QLD Minesite Inductions Work at Heights Certification Confined Spaces Certification Provide First Aid Certification This role includes the opportunity for paid overtime as required, along with above Award wages, vehicle, uniform and mobile phone.
