Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDALocation: DeesideSalary: £40,000 - £43,000 base salary depending on experiencePosition: Permanent, 40 hours a weekBenefits:Clean and Modern working environmentAudatex experience is essentialFree onsite parking33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) and other personalised benefitsPlease call Rochelle at Clear Automotive for more information on (phone number removed).Job Details:Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the full extent of the damage sustained.Assess the cost of repair and time scales.Work on-site in the accident repair centre; being a good team player is essential.Identify the correct prescribed repair method.Prepare computerised and manual estimates and maintain up-to-date records of all estimates.Obtain authority from insurance companies to proceed with repair to a vehicle and confirm the cost of the repair.Communicate effectively with customers, engineers, and technicians to ensure understanding of the correct vehicle repair methodology.Ensure that any amendments to repair work are authorised by the insurance company.Liaise with body shop personnel to ensure they fully understand the prescribed repair method.Job Experience:Experience in a busy accident repair centre is advantageous.Must be an advanced user of Audatex.ATA qualification or NVQ Level 3 is required.If you would like to be considered for this position, please send your CV to Rochelle at Clear Automotive or call on (phone number removed).#J-18808-Ljbffr
