About the role Alpha Car Hire has permanent Vehicle Cleaner opportunities available at our Brisbane locations. You will be responsible for ensuring vehicle cleaning is completed to a high standard resulting in a high-quality output to all customers. The available roles will be worked in accordance with a seven (7) day rotating roster and required to work within the branch operating hours of Monday to Friday 7am to 9pm, Saturday to Sunday 7am to 7pm.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with hourly award rates per applicable award classifications and eligibility for the monthly reward scheme alongside superannuation according to the Super Guarantee.
Your role and responsibilities:
• Cleaning passenger and commercial vehicles
• Vehicle maintenance checks
• Checking for and recording vehicle damage
• Movement of vehicles on and offsite for refuelling, maintenance, repairs, delivery to customers or other location
• Assisting Customers
• Ensure compliance and workplace health and safety risks and incidents are reported promptly and managed effectively
• General branch cleaning duties

About you • Excellent communication skills and a positive 'Can do' attitude
• Be able to work weekends and public holidays as required
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work both unsupervised and within a team
• Ability to multi-task and highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Willingness to travel and work between locations
• A full and current relevant state driver's licence
• Have own reliable transport to and from the branch.
• Experience, although preferred, is not essential.
