Core Responsibilities & Duties Complying with all requirements of VCE administration including enrolment, assessment, student attendance, monitoring and record keeping with oversight of the Victorian Assessment Software System (VASS) Liaising with the VCAA and other external agencies and providers (including VET, and other schools) in the management of the VCE Leading staff to create a positive learning environment to enhance the delivery of the VCE Coordinating all VCE documentation for staff, students and parents, including the VCE Rules and Procedures handbooks Coordinating and managing all aspects of Units 3 and 4 end-of-year examinations, and the General Achievement Test (GAT) Provide a child safe environment in accordance with the child safe standards; Participate in child safety and wellbeing induction and training provided by the school and always follow the school's child safety and wellbeing policies and procedures; Act in accordance with our Child Safety Code of Conduct; Identify and raise concerns about child safety issues in accordance with our Child Safety Responding and Reporting Obligations Policy and Procedures, including following the Four Critical Actions for Schools; Ensure students' views are taken seriously and their voices are heard about decisions that affect their lives; Model and promote the vision and values of the school; Teach an area of the curriculum to senior year levels; Maintain records of class attendance and recording student progress; Implement effective student management consistent with the school's strategic plan; Attend and participate in staff meetings as required; Be actively involved in regular staff devotions and prayer. About You Be a committed Christian, comfortable with sharing your faith Be committed to improving student academic outcomes Have high expectations for what students are capable of, both academically and behaviorally Relate well to staff, students, and parents. You are able to lead a team of staff, inspire and manage students, and communicate effectively with parents to support a culture of high expectations Have a servant heart Enjoy still having a limited teaching role Have demonstrated excellent organizational skills Have experience in Years 10-12
