We welcome applications from experienced teachers to join our talented science team to teach VCE Chemistry with the potential to lead the Science Department for the right candidate, commencing in Term 1, 2025.
Key aspects of the roles: Demonstrated understanding of best practice pedagogy which embraces the principles of personalised learning and encourages high performance outcomes. Demonstrated working knowledge and understanding of ACARA guidelines and processes. Capacity to work collaboratively with colleagues to develop programs and initiatives that support the academic growth of each student and create opportunities for quality learning experiences. Be an effective communicator with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff. Encourage a positive environment where achievements are celebrated, each student feels valued, and a sense of belonging and connectedness is created for all. Ensure that a sound knowledge of emerging trends in educational theory, learning theory, learning technology, student achievement, assessment, and methodologies underpins all learning and teaching across programs.
