Role Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic VCE Biology teacher. This is a full time 12-month contract position with the possibility of ongoing employment. The role commences in January 2025. The teaching load includes Unit 1/2 Biology, Junior Sciences and one Junior Mathematics class.
Role Description: Role model and inspire a passion for the Sciences (particularly Biology) in all students.Use teaching strategies based on sound knowledge of students' physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics to improve student learning.Contribute to the academic growth of each student through data informed practice.Actively engage in the School's Thrive (Teacher Performance Development) Program.Establish and maintain respectful, collaborative relationships with parents/carers regarding their children's learning and wellbeing.Establish and maintain respectful, collaborative relationships with colleagues.The Candidate: The successful candidate will have:
