About the role
We are seeking an experienced Civil Worker to join our team at CHV Civil based in Queanbeyan, NSW. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in the construction and maintenance of electrical civil infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you will utilize your expertise and hands-on skills to contribute to the successful delivery of our projects.
What you'll be doing Operating and maintaining a range of civil construction equipment such as excavators. Assisting with the construction and repair of electrical civil infrastructure. Performing general labour activities such as locating and site preparation. Following safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe work environment. Collaborating with the project team to troubleshoot and problem-solve on-site issues. Completing daily job reports and documentation as required. What we're looking for Several years of experience as a Civil Worker or similar role in the construction industry. Proficiency in operating a range of civil construction equipment, such as excavators, lasers, and compaction equipment. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. What we offer
