RoleWork Collaboratively with the Data and Reporting teamMaintain school's records system, including day to day oversight of EdVal Daily, EdVal Staff and the Victorian Assessment Software System (VASS), CASES 21 and CompassProvide accurate and timely data entry into the VASS System, i.e., results, VET Programs etc.Provide regular communication and planning to teaching staff to enable adherence to the strict VCAA timelinesQuality control of VASS results compared with Teacher Results, report any inconsistencies.Run VASS reports to ensure all requirements are metMaintain student files, ensuring all relevant documents are collated and maintained.Coordinate and update details through VASS including subject selection, student enrolments, indicative grades and results Enter results for VET, VCE Unit 1 & 2, Unit 3 & 4Coordinate VET enrolments for WynBay LLENRegularly update the VASS system including transferring students to/from College and making changes to student details and subject selectionsCoordinate VET enrolments and certificates for students studying subjects through external groups such as VSV and VSLGeneral VASS AdministrationLiaise with Chief examiner regarding exam timetable, special provisions and room requirements.Meet regularly with Assistant Principal, Senior School; VET/VPC CoordinatorCommunicate timelines to VCE staffCommunicate VCAA information to VCE staffPrepare and submit audit informationMaintain strict confidentialityOther duties as directed by Principal or Business Manager Responsibilities VASS Coordinator specific duties will include: · Manage VCE enrolments for home school. Ensure accuracy of data · Maintain VCE class lists and ensure these are regularly audited for accuracy. Liaise with Assistant Principal ¿ College Operations and Innovations and Assistant Principal ¿ Senior school to ensure all new enrolments or student subject changes are amended on VASS · Perform student full details checks at least once per term · Confirm student enrolment details are kept up to date through a termly administrative process in Pathways classes · Ensure parents/guardians are reminded through Compass, schoil emails, and newsletters to maintain up to date student details and follow up with individual student/families as required. · Print special arrangement advice slips & explain to students and parents  · Run eligibility reports ¿ liaise with Teachers · Adhere to specific timelines as set by VCAA · Manage timelines and data entry for S/N & School Assessed Coursework (SACs) and School Assessed Tasks (SATs) · Ensure the timely information is received by staff to ensure compliance with timelines · Collect and enter indicative exam grades ¿ including audit check with Assistant Principal ¿ Senior school and return to individual subject check for final check. · Manage exam/study score results and disseminate to students and teachers · Manage the administrative aspect of the redemption process ¿ this involves the teacher notifying the VASS Coordinator of change of grade/results which the VASS coordinator will update on the system · Updating and maintaining the VASS database · Work with Morris Senior School Campus office manager to ensure Cases21 database is maintained · Assistant Principal ¿ College operations and Innovations maintains Compass, Edval databases in concert with VASS coordinator · Ensure staff are aware of any changes to VCAA advice re VCE via forwarding of the applicable VCAA memos. This includes publishing publishing timelines for staff and where required brief staff at Senior school meetings · Publish timelines for students and parents and disseminate via Compass notifications, college emails and website. · Ensure new enrolments are entered on the database · Ensure student exits are removed from the database · Liaise with VCAA re administration for students with special needs. It is a co-educational school that will form part of a wider Truganina North Learning Precinct, which along with the secondary school will include a primary school and kindergarten on the same site. The Junior campus (Everton Road Campus, Truganina) will be able to enrol up to 600 students while the Senior campus (Morris Road Campus, Truganina) will be able to enrol up to 800 students when the first stage of the school is complete.  In its first year of operation, Bemin Secondary College will open to Year 7 (junior campus) and Year 10 (senior campus) students only, and progress by year level thereafter.
