About This Role
The Executive General Manager Community Services leads a growing portfolio of government-funded (Home Care Packages and Veterans' Home Care) and self-funded home care services across Metropolitan Melbourne and the Geelong/Bellarine region. Reporting to the CEO and working collaboratively with a supportive Executive Management Team and Board of Directors, this role holds key responsibilities around service growth and expansion, customer service, quality, workforce leadership and compliance.
About You
To be successful in this role you will be client and employee-focused; enjoy working as part of an innovative leadership team navigating reform in the aged care sector; be driven to develop the service and be passionate about achieving high quality outcomes. You will also have a strong business acumen, agility and a proven track record in sustainable operational management.
You will have:
Experience providing strategic leadership and operational management of quality home care services in the community. Experience growing a home care service portfolio to reach more clients who need assistance living at home. Demonstrated ability to undertake sustainable financial management of a community-based program. Demonstrated ability in leading, developing, motivating and managing a team. Demonstrated ability to undertake effective change management and problem-solve. Proven effective and kind communication, and interpersonal skills including building relationships and liaising with key stakeholders. Good written communication and ability to prepare business documents for CEO and Board use. Willingness to complete compliance checks as a Key Personnel in aged care. Benefits for You
