Your position Working at one of Australia's most Advanced Picking Solution sites, located in Yennora, Sydney, the Service Technician will perform maintenance and operational duties as instructed, including any reactive calls on our Automated Material Handling System to ensure productivity, asset availability, health & safety compliance, service quality, and teamwork is optimized in accordance with agreed timescales.
You will work within your assigned shift pattern on a range of tasks involving electrical, instrument, mechanical, and control systems, including the installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of all Vanderlande equipment on site.
Responsibilities A degree, diploma, or certificate in mechanical engineering and/or electrical engineering, or a related technical field is required. Ability to serve as a technical contact during incidents for requests from internal and external stakeholders. Knowledge of Industrial Network solutions & PLC control systems (Desirable) Experience in service activities on automated materials handling systems is a distinct advantage. Methodical approach to the required workflows. Flexible attitude to shift work. ASRS Experience beneficial.
