Are you a Van Driver looking to join a pioneering healthcare logistics company in a purposeful role?
You'll be working 42.5 hrs a week, Monday to Friday and will be paid £27,250 at our site in Normanton.
Benefits Overtime is paid at 1.5 where applicable, we do not have peak times and have steady volumes, there is no weekend or bank holiday working. Purpose of the role To deliver pharmaceutical products in a timely manner. You will be trained to meet company requirements for the Health & Safety of yourself and others.
Key Responsibilities Operating company vehicles ensuring appropriate licenses and authorizations are current. Offloading and reloading of vehicles at customer's premises and at the depot. Assist with warehouse personnel to ensure delivery runs are complete before loading. Show flexibility as you may be required to undertake deliveries in other areas within our distribution area. Carry out daily maintenance checks and ensure the cleanliness of your vehicle to present a professional image. Abide by statutory and legal requirements with relation to driver's hours and tachograph regulations. Present tachographs for analysis as requested by Depot Management or statutory inspectors. Deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Wear at all times such safety and company uniforms as provided. Be prepared to vary start times and shift patterns as required by the needs of the business. Carry out all reasonable requests by Depot Management. Experience/Skills Required Previous multi-drop delivery operations practical experience. Articulate, numerate and able to communicate effectively. Flexible in approach to work hours. Good state of health and the physical ability to complete operational tasks. Smart and personally well presented. Movianto / Walden Group is an equal opportunity employer.
