Vacation Student opportunity: Build the extraordinary, every day The Hatch Vacation Student Program provides the opportunity to work on real projects and gain practical industry skills. As part of the Structural Engineering team, you will gain exposure to Structural design engineering activities on a range of exciting projects across the resources and energy sectors. You may be involved in various phases of projects from conceptual design and feasibility studies through to detailed engineering.
You will have opportunities to:
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to complete project deliverables for clients Develop mentoring relationships with experienced professionals and experts Work towards individual career goals Work in a flexible framework and environment Attend networking events, opportunities, and activities Continuously learn and develop through a variety of challenging work experiences and career pathways You will be working towards a bachelor/master's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering, ideally in your third year (or later) of study, with a strong academic record. Candidates will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and will be collaborators with the ability to think laterally and innovatively to solve problems. You will also have an interest in exploring a future with a global consulting company and are committed to creating positive change.
The 12-week, full-time program commences on Monday, 18 Nov 2024. Please note, during this time Hatch will have its annual office closure from COB Friday, 20 December 2024 and will reopen Monday, 6 January 2025.
