Join our Student Vacation Program:
Are you a highly motivated student currently studying Mechanical Engineering? We're inviting you to be part of our excellent student vacation program within our manufacturing division. As a Mechanical Engineer student, you'll have the unique opportunity to work in a major hazard facility in a metropolitan area.
Program Details:
Start/End Date: November 2024 to February 2025
Location: Brisbane based Program – Lytton Refinery
Onsite: This role will require students to be onsite
Hired on a full-time fixed-term contract, you'll gain on-the-job experience where you will learn and develop under the guidance of our Leaders and teams. About you:
We are seeking ambitious and driven students currently studying Mechanical Engineering to join our full-time Student Vacation Program during the summer break from November 2024 to February 2025 at the Lytton Refinery, located in Brisbane.
To be successful, you will be a current undergraduate student, have strong communication skills, an outstanding approach to customer service, and love working in a team environment. You will have excellent academic results as well as a passion for solving complex problems. The preference is for students currently in their penultimate year of study.
Please note: Ampol will only be considering Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents for our Graduate Program.

Submit your application: What to include? Personal details, CV, GPA, transcripts, and right-to-work evidence.
Complete a video interview: Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a digital interview and psychometric testing.
Attend an interview: Shortlisted applicants will attend an interview - What to expect? A chance for you to bring your best self and hear from us, you will undertake an interview at our Lytton Refinery or online via Teams.
Offers: Formal offers and pre-employment checks are undertaken, including a medical for specific roles. Commence Student Vacation program in November 2024!
