Vacation Student Opportunity: Build the Extraordinary, Every Day The Hatch Vacation Student Program provides the opportunity to work on real projects and gain practical industry skills.
As part of the Control, Automation & Electrical team, you will gain exposure to related design engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
You may be involved in various phases of projects from scoping and conceptual design, pre-feasibility studies, through to detailed engineering.
Our focus remains on quality, safety, cost, and schedule.

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to complete project deliverables for clients Develop mentoring relationships with experienced professionals Work towards individual career goals Work in a flexible framework and environment Attend networking events and activities Continuously learn through a variety of challenging work experiences You Bring to the Role: You will be working towards a bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechatronic / Control Systems Engineering, ideally in your third year or later.
Candidates will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and will be collaborators with the ability to think laterally and innovatively to solve problems.
The 12-week, full-time program commences on Monday, 18 Nov 2024.
Please note, during this time, Hatch will have its annual office closure from COB Friday, 20 December 2024 and will reopen Monday, 6 January 2025.
