Vacation Student opportunity: Build the extraordinary, every day The Hatch Vacation Student Program offers a unique opportunity to work on real-world projects and gain hands-on industry experience. We are dedicated to supporting your transition from academia to your professional career, helping bridge the gap between education and the workplace.
As a member of our Advisory practice , you will participate in a variety of engagements that will enhance your problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills through collaboration with both our team and clients.
You may also have the chance to contribute to the following activities:
Assisting in the development of cost models, financial models, and business cases for projects and initiatives, both for external clients and within Hatch. Engaging proactively with internal stakeholders to gather information, deliver reports, presentations, and provide verbal updates as required. Collecting and summarizing data through document analysis, workshops, surveys, and business process descriptions to support various initiatives. Preparing scenarios and case studies to assist analysts and consultants in decision-making. Working alongside subject matter experts to evaluate trade-offs between planned objectives and business performance needs. Providing administrative support as needed. This program is designed to cultivate your skills and prepare you for a successful career in the industry.

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to complete project deliverables for clients Develop mentoring relationships with experienced professionals and experts Work towards individual career goals Work in a flexible framework and environment Attend networking events, opportunities, and activities Continuously learn and develop through a variety of challenging work experiences and career pathways You bring to the role: You will have (or be working towards) a bachelor's degree in business or engineering , ideally in your third year (or later) of study, with a strong academic record. Successful candidates will also have excellent interpersonal skills and strong passion for working closely in a team environment to solve complex problems. You will also have an interest in exploring a future with a global consulting company and are committed to creating positive change.
The 12-week program commences on Monday, 18 Nov 2024 . Please note, during this time Hatch will have its annual office closure from COB Friday, 20 December 2024 and will reopen Monday, 6 January 2025 .
