Vacancy for Digital Preservation Lead at Queensland State Archives17 March 2023Brisbane$105977 - $113167Fixed TermWe are looking for a Digital Preservation Lead to join the Digital Archives team in this exciting and rewarding role.You will oversee the management of transfers, ingest, curation and discoverability of Queensland Government permanent value born-digital records and will develop best-practice methodologies for the archival preservation of digital records.In this role you will:oversee, develop and execute digital preservation workflows that meet collection, access and user needsoversee the operational implementation of digital preservation strategies at QSA including development and records of policies, work plans, resource management and preservation prioritiesinvestigate, recommend, implement and refine methodologies and practices for sustainable and secure digital archivingdevelop and maintain expertise in QSA's digital preservation tools including providing advanced support to teams using the systemprovide guidance to internal and external stakeholders on preservation formats, metadata, transfers and imaging best practices for a variety of file format and carrier typesmaintain statistics, prepare reports and use relevant data to inform program planning and continued process improvement.FIND OUT MORE & APPLY#J-18808-Ljbffr
