About the opportunity Provide specialist advice and expertise, including technical understanding, on the long-term management and curation of digital collections, including research data, and develop guidelines, procedures and training to ensure digital content created or curated by the Library is managed, described and formatted in ways that provide long-term meaningful access for future researchers, students and scholars.
About you Previous work experience on digital collections, digitisation projects and/or digital preservation. Expertise and understanding of library, archival, or preservation repository systems, services and requirements, including metadata, standards, workflows, resource description, rights and permission. Approaches work as a strong collaborator with great initiative as a project manager and good attention to detail. Supports the ongoing development of high-quality client-focused digital curation services. Provides specialist technical advice on digital preservation to the University community.
