We are seeking Systems Engineers for contract positions in Melbourne to support the development of a new capability for Defence. We welcome applications from engineers at various experience levels, from mid-level to senior, who have a strong background in Verification and Validation (V&V).The ideal candidates will have substantial experience in complex technical environments and will play a crucial role in V&V and integration activities across hardware, software, and other systems.If you are interested in contributing to this exciting Defence project, we would like to hear from you.Highlights:3-6 month contractVIC basedSeptember/October startThe role:Conduct systems analysis to establish functional, performance, and interface requirements that fulfill system needs.Manage Verification and Validation (V&V) activities, including creating test plans, executing tests, and delivering formal reports.Engage in system design activities, including trade studies, to ensure the system architecture aligns with the baseline product.Maintain and update system design documentation as necessary.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired testing deliverables.Minimum Requirements:Minimum 4 years' experience as a Systems Engineer, Verification & Validation or Integration Engineer.Experience in System Engineering, Integration and Verification on large complex systems within the Defence industry.Demonstrated experience using DOORS.Experience with the setup and documentation of program V&V test plans, as well as managing test execution when required.Proven experience delivering within an agile development environment.Must have NV1 clearance.Please only apply if you hold Australian Citizenship and can obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.If you think you match the above criteria, please apply in Word format only.
