The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with product managers, front-end and back-end engineers on complex software development projects. Unless otherwise specified, all product design roles at Trilogy Care share the below requirements and responsibilities.Product knowledge: Working knowledge of the product you are assigned toResearch: Conduct solution validation with guidance and incorporate insights into design decisions to fulfill user and business needsDeliverables: Create deliverables for the group(s) you support (for example: JTBD, UX Scorecards, competitive evaluations, user flows, low fidelity wireframes, high fidelity mock-ups, prototypes, and so on) that solve real user problems through the user experienceCommunication: Communicate the results of UX activities within your product area to the team, cross-functional teams, and other interested Trilogy Care team members using clear language that simplifies complexity.Usability: Proactively identify both small and large usability issues within the product.Iteration: Practice design iteration, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and team membersDesign system: Actively contribute to the design system by keeping design components available and up to date in prototyping tools, ensuring that reusable components fit visually and functionally togetherUI copy: Collaborate closely with stakeholders on microcopy and documentation suggestionsDesign reviews: Participate in design reviews, giving and receiving feedback in an appropriate wayUX debt: Understand UX debt and make recommendations for its resolution with the help of a senior designer or managerYou'll contribute to and follow our workflow process, alongside the rest of the Product Designers and the Trilogy Care community as a whole.Qualifications and RequirementsProfessional experience working in a design-related role, preferably as a product designerStrong knowledge of usability and interaction design principlesKnowledge and understanding of design systems theory and practiceExperience utilizing modern design and collaboration toolsExperience in conducting workshops, user interviews, and interacting with stakeholders in group and one-on-one settingsWorking knowledge of HTML and CSSProficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a hybrid/remote and largely asynchronous work environmentDemonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions, achieving consensus with peersComfort working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development processDemonstrated ability to onboard and integrate with an organization long-termPositive and solution-oriented mindsetSelf-motivated and self-managing, with great organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to work closely with other parts of the organizationShare our values, and work in accordance with those valuesSalary and Trilogy BenefitsNew and expansive King Street office with excellent facilities, close to multiple transport options, cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets.Enjoy a vibrant team culture and active social events calendar.Opportunities for career mapping within your role and career progression within the companyTotal support from your managers and accessible services that will help you thrive in both your work and personal lifeEAP support for you and your immediate family membersDiscounts available to employees to assist with general costs of living such as groceries, fuel, bills, active and wellnessMandatory RequirementsCurrent federal police clearance (not more than 12 months old) and international police check if you have lived overseas in the last 10 yearsEvidence of Australian work rights (passport, birth certificate, etc.)Unlock your Potential with Trilogy CareWe believe that challenges are better solved together!
