Based in Newcastle, we're open to candidates from Newcastle, Central Coast or the Hunter Valley to work in a hybrid environment within a smart and innovative design team.
If you're skilled in understanding complex user needs, especially within cybersecurity and Microsoft environments, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a significant, impactful project.
What you'll be doing: Conducting in-depth UX research, including user-facing studies, to shape and refine service blueprints, journey maps, and other user data.
Working closely with various project stakeholders, including business sponsors with limited technical background, to communicate insights and guide design decisions.
Synthesising research data into actionable insights, presenting findings in a way that is accessible and engaging for stakeholders.
Collaborating with teams on configuring and customising Microsoft solutions, specifically in cybersecurity environments, with experience in tools like Microsoft Purview and Windows Hello being highly desirable.
Engaging with a culturally diverse environment, such as university, government, or council settings, to ensure designs meet a broad spectrum of needs and expectations.
Experience required: Senior-level UX research experience with a strong portfolio.
Proven track record in the cybersecurity space and/or configuring Microsoft tools for enhanced user needs.
Ability to present complex research findings to a range of stakeholders, especially those with low design literacy.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including experience working with diverse project teams and stakeholders.
Experience working within government, higher education, or similar public sector environments is a plus.
