Full-time, permanent opportunity based at Mile EndFeel the satisfaction of transforming complex problems into streamlined solutions that enhance RAA's digital experiencesYour design skills will shape the future of digital transformation, pushing boundaries and improving performanceThe Role: We're looking for a talented and driven UX Designer to help bring our digital experiences to the next level, as well as work on exciting new products.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of our product development process, working collaboratively with cross-functional Agile teams to design cohesive, consistent, and valuable digital experiences aligned to business goals and user needs.
Key Responsibilities: Lead Design Projects: Work with senior designers to drive the end-to-end design process, from user research and ideation to user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs and specifications.User Research: Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and data analysis to deeply understand our users' needs and behaviours.Collaborate: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to problem solve and define product requirements to ensure designs are feasible, viable and desirable.Create Experiences: Design intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing experiences that enhance engagement and meet user and business needs.Iterate: Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously refine and improve designs.Stay Current: Keep up with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in UX and product design.About you: Experience: 3+ years of experience in UX, UI, or product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.Tertiary qualifications: In design, web development or a related field (highly desirable).Technical Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Axure, Adobe XD, or similar.Problem-Solving: A knack for breaking down complex problems into simple, elegant solutions.Communication: Strong ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.User-Centric Mindset: A deep empathy for users and a passion for creating delightful experiences.Business understanding: Ability to connect high-quality experiences with business impact and metrics.Bonus Points: Experience with motion design, design systems, HTML/CSS knowledge, or a background in the travel industry.About us: We're proud to be one of South Australia's most iconic brands, trusted by members for more than 120 years.
