We are seeking an experienced Utilities Engineer to join the team in Sydney. The role will see you working on designs for major road infrastructure projects across NSW & ACT and across borders as necessary. You will engage with our existing client base and work closely alongside our broader Transport team.Your role will include:Working on Infrastructure Projects; the role will involve third party utilities and the interface with the project, which includes:Identification of utility clashes, and development of relocation alignments.Coordinating with a wider team of engineering disciplines to resolve clashes.Working with a Utility Lead to liaise with utility service owners to facilitate a timely and efficient design outcome.Analysis of technical problems by applying theoretical knowledge of engineering principles and taking initiative to propose solutions.Assisting more senior engineers with the analysis of information, production of designs, and computations and models.Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders using a range of methods, including written analyses and reports.Application of digital tools in creative and efficient ways in order to automate processes.How will your future be shaped by us?Joining Aurecon means you'll be at the award-winning edge of innovation and sustainability. You have a good understanding of the civil engineering industry in Australia, and you bring an analytical mindset and ability to solve problems innovatively. You can work independently under supervision or as part of a team, and you enjoy engaging with project stakeholders in a professional manner. You have a clear written and verbal communication style, and you are capable of quickly learning new software packages. Experience in one or more of the following software packages is desirable: (12d, CAD, Navis Works).You will also need a relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering and proven experience in the infrastructure industry.Think you know Aurecon?
