About the Role
Stantec's Utilities team is a highly respected, established group of engineers, and have a solid pipeline of work.
You will be leading projects across NSW working on the design and relocation of utilities for major infrastructure projects.
You will have previous experience in coordinating the delivery of utilities, providing technical advice to both project teams and clients.
This role can be based in either Sydney or Wollongong and offers flexible work arrangements.
Day to day tasks would involve:
Coordination and management of Utility Design teams Working with all utilities authority's Leading projects from lodgements to completion Collaborating with clients to design innovative solutions to meet their needs and community expectations Data analysis, interpretation and assessment to achieve project goals Design coordination and submission of proposals ensuring relevant timeframes and budgets are met Attendance at project/client meetings and engaging in community consultation Undertaking field work and site inspections Supervising and mentoring junior engineers Qualifications
To be successful for this role you'll need:
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or equivalent, or equivalent experience Previous experience as a utilities coordinator and or WSC Good understanding of all utilities authority's policies and procedures Previous experience in project management on Sydney Water projects Strong project management and time management skills Experience in developing junior engineers Understanding of relevant software: 12D, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS and MS packages (Excel, Word, Project) along with excellent drafting skills Strong verbal and written communication skills ensuring positive relationships with staff, clients and authorities Valid driver's license with a willing attitude to local travel What we offer
