User Researcher

Seeking an experienced User researcher to work with a large Government Agency commencing in early 2025.Responsibilities Identifying users' behaviours, needs and motivations using observational research methods.Develop Research Approaches, contribute to the selection of the user research approaches for the projects and initiatives. Provide expert advice and guidance to support the adoption of agreed approaches.Plan and conduct generative research activities and facilitate input from users and stakeholders to collect and analyse user research data. Support synthesis of research and the creation of insights, reports and presentations to enhance system development.Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviours and preferences for Data Management.Develop personas, user stories, and user journeys.Conduct usability tests, surveys, and interviews.Collaborate with the UX/ UI Designer to incorporate user feedback into the design.ExpectationsConduct user research to understand user needs, behaviours and preferences for Data Management.Develop personas, user stories, and user journeys.Conduct usability tests, surveys, and interviews.Collaborate with the UX/ UI Designer to incorporate user feedback into the design.AccountabilityDelivering high-quality user research data and insights.Ensuring user feedback is incorporated into the design process.Collaborating effectively with the UX/ UI Designer and development team.Maintaining accurate documentation of user research findings and insights.Minimum Requirements:Candidates must be Australian Citizens with a current AGSVA Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance.
