Location: Canberra, Australian Capital Territory Type: Contract Job #17173 About the role Our federal government client is seeking an experienced User Researcher who will focus on helping to achieve large-scale change to their agricultural export systems and bio-security cargo clearance systems, using agile and human user-centred design.
Key responsibilities Undertaking users research, design, development and testing of software for deployment and support in a Cloud environment.
Integration with existing systems and platforms.
Transitioning services to sustainment, including service level agreements (SLAs) for uptime, response times, and performance.
Compliance with government security standards (e.g., Australian Cyber Security Centre guidelines), including data protection and privacy measures.
Strategies for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks.
Undertaking Alpha and Beta phases for new and existing product development Highly desirable criteria Helps the team develop a deep understanding of users, their needs and helps test the service, this includes engaging with stakeholders to understand their user needs and pain points.
Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team to deliver the digital services that meet the product vision.
