The Role In this role, you will deliver direct clinical services, ensuring optimal patient care for individuals dealing with Urological issues, encompassing both elective and emergent Urological surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will extend to offering information, support, education, and training for the prevention and treatment of Urological injuries. Additionally, you will contribute your medical expertise to the development of a comprehensive range of health services, aimed at minimizing and preventing the occurrence of Urological-related injuries. Effective interpersonal communication skills, along with an empathetic, kind, and supportive approach with patients, are integral to this position. A strong commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and a fervor for ongoing self-education and development are essential aspects of this role.

The Facility This facility, with a capacity of 320 beds, serves as the primary referral center for the region. It delivers public health and hospital services to a population of around 265,000 people, with an anticipated growth to over 360,000 in the next two decades. Covering a diverse demographic, the Hospital and Health Service spans major provincial and small rural community settings across the extensive 90,000 square kilometers it serves. Playing a significant teaching role, the facility provides valuable undergraduate and postgraduate clinical experience. Remuneration Youmay be offered a competitive remuneration package valued at up to $448,311 (Level 27) comprising of: Motor vehicle allowanceProfessional development allowance3.6 weeks of professional development leave per annumregional attraction allowanceprofessional indemnity cover, and private practice arrangements.Additionally, superannuation (up to 12.75%)annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied on top of the total remuneration value.
