Urgent Care/Practice Nurse

We are currently seeking experienced RNs to join the team on a full-time or part-time basis.Cairns Urgent Care Clinic is located in Edmonton and offers acute care and treatment for conditions that are not life-threatening but require urgent assistance.The clinic is open 7 days a week from 8am to 10pm weekdays and 9am to 6pm on weekends and public holidays.About the role:The role will be responsible for identifying and triaging suitable patients and providing front-line care while working alongside our General Practitioners.Duties include:Conducting comprehensive nursing assessments to efficiently triage patients.Deliver high-quality patient care and take decisive actions for patients requiring emergency attention or experiencing health deterioration.Offer healthcare-related education to patients as needed.Complete all documentation accurately and promptly.To be considered you must have the following:A clinical background in general practice and/or triage.Providing compassion, empathy and understanding to patients and their families whilst maintaining a professional approach.Be a team player with strong critical thinking skills, who can work both independently and collaboratively in our dynamic team environment.Effective time management and prioritization.Flexibility to work across all shifts/days.Cairns Urgent Care ClinicCairns 5 Walker Road Edmonton QLD 4869Full time
