The Opportunity:
We are looking for a passionate, proactive Senior Consultant to join our Transport Advisory team within our Sydney business unit.
You will have a good understanding of transport engineering in the context of urban and regional transport systems in NSW.
You can provide a range of services including advice relating to transport engineering assessment and design, transport planning and development impacts.

As a Senior Transport Consultant, you will be responsible for undertaking and delegating a range of responsibilities, including complex problem solving and innovation, information analysis, SIDRA analytics, transport design advice, transport planning, project management, report writing and client engagement.

You will work within the Transport Advisory team both in Sydney and nationally.
Projects vary in size and type which presents variety and the unique opportunity to work alongside our Urban Planning and Urban Design teams to shape the project from inception.

In this role, you will:
Provide a range of services including advice relating to transport engineering, land use/transport integration, approval processes and management.
Provide advanced traffic engineering and management principles, with the ability to apply them, including advice relating to land use/transport planning, transport network design for all transport modes, due diligence assessments, master plans and the approval process and management.
Support the delivery of strategic transport advisory projects and other national initiatives.
Proactively identify opportunities to engage and work collaboratively with colleagues from other disciplines and Business Units across Urbis and Cistri.
Generate new work and profitable business performance, through the maintenance and building upon new and existing client relationships.
Nurture and develop junior staff members through effective coaching and mentoring.
About You:
Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Transport Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, or a related discipline.
Relevant local NSW experience, ideally gained in a consultancy environment.
Significant Transport engineering/Transport planning experience with demonstrable ability to manage workload and deliver across multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
Collaborative approach to work and team mentality along with mentoring junior staff.
