Urbis, Shaping futures your way! The Opportunity: We are looking for a proactive and experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join our National Design team in our Sydney office. You will play a key role in delivering a range of city shaping projects for a diverse range of private and public sector clients.
You will work with other professionals such as Architects, Contractors, Project Managers and Civil and Structural Engineers. The role will be supported by experienced Directors and a market leading national team of Landscape Architects and Urban Designers.
You will: Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients Deliver a range of services including site analysis, council approvals processes, illustrative plan production, report production, ideally 3D modelling, landscape design and documentation Provide input into fee proposals, tenders, and submissions for potential projects Provide support for concept, detailed design, and contract administration phases Lead the process associated with delivering complex multi-disciplinary projects and speak expertly about the project, site, market, statutory, client objectives and desired outcomes Provide specialist Landscape Architecture project management with a high degree of personal responsibility for task management and programming About You: This role is ideally suited to someone with:
5+ years relevant experience An ability to work well within a team-based, project focused environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills An ability to develop and document complex landscape architecture designs in computer aided design (AutoCAD) and graphic (Adobe Creative Suite) and 3D modelling and visualisation expertise (Sketchup / Rhino 3D / Revit / Lumion) formats Strong Word and Excel skills to develop contract specifications and costing estimates Qualifications in Landscape Architecture Why Urbis?
