Urbis is seeking a dynamic Development Manager to join our newly established Development Advisory business. This is a unique chance to be at the forefront of shaping the future of our built infrastructure services.
Your Role:Drive development strategies across all project stages, from asset strategy to securing builders in sectors like living, education, retail, and industrial.Oversee planning, administration, resourcing, reporting, engagement and documentation for multiple projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.Lead design quality outcomes, progress report, manage risks, and drive high-performing multi-disciplinary teams.Logically approach and review assumptions in development feasibility assessments, identifying viable opportunities to maximise potential across two or more asset types.Assist with managing commercial contracts and negotiation for Joint Venture, Land Sales and Construction contracts and securing favourable terms ensuring strong relationships and favourable terms with consultants and contractors.Contribute to team well-being and the creation of standardised project management processes across our highly collaborative teams Urbis.About You:Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Property, or Law.5+ years Project, Development or Transactions Management experience within the Australian real estate market, with at least 3 years in a client-side consultancy firm, and experience managing projects over $25 million.Strong project planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and Project.Agile, thrives in fast-paced environments, and excels in building professional relationships.Why Urbis?Urbis is committed to fostering an inclusive, flexible, and diverse work environment.
